Hi there!
I finally bought a Coilair 08 and i am waitting the bike to arrive home.Surfing a lot and searching in the net i have read a lot of people talking about the Marzocchi 55 TST2 20mm with dissapointment.
Why is that?Is really s problematic fork? Please tell me something because i feel uncomfortable with that conditions. Thanks
tech
Some people had problems with the cartridges on that fork. Marzochci knows about the problem, they know how to fix the problem, and they know how to walk bike shops through addressing the problem. I don't think you have anything at all to be worried about.

They tell me the fork has to go to a service center for the re-build. They're not sharing the info so it can be done at home.

Ive got the coilair 08 with the same forks, never had an issue and I've thrown it down some pretty big hills and bumpy terrain and I'm 238lbs

heya guys, this seems to sort of fit in this topic, i've got an 08 coilair and am thinking of getting a new front shock but the whole tapered front end thing has given me pause.

my bike is http://www.mtbr.com/cat/bikes/freeride-ful...63_1543crx.aspx

definitively, what size do i need, 1 1/8 or what?

any help would be much appreciated

Your frame has a Zero Stack 44mm top cup and a 1.5 external bottom cup. You can run tapered.
