Hi I think I am the first on this forum - what an honour (yes I am a brit).
On my second Kona - a King Kikapu - still have trusty Hardtail AA from '96 in garage too. I hope I don't have to replace as many parts on my KK as my AA which had those lovely (being sarcastic) Curve components on it. Anyway life in Middle Europe (live near Strasbourg) is chilly - great for skiiing and messing - but I want those trails clear of the white stuff to do some serious adventures. It would be great to see more Kona riders around eastern France - I was amazed to find one in Hagenau (Techno Cycles - very nice people). Anway better earn some money now to pay for the bike. Cheers Pat |

I also await the spring thaw.
I am on my first kona (got it last luly) and am pleased as punch with it. I have not ridden in 7 years, and was a road bike man untill a back injury forced me to stop. Got a GT last june and promptly had it stolen 24 days later (PISSED I WAS), oh well. Sooo i went shopping for another one , and the Kona just seemed to follow me home, at least that's what i told the girl. So i am doctor approved and ready to get back in the saddle again, the few months last summer has only just wet my appetite and left me anxiously wanting MORE! For now i check MTB websites and stare longingly at pic's of warmer times, sad really. Patience... Cheers Nick. -------------------- GOT BIKE ?
