Hi. I would like to know what is the weight of Sun Black Eye? I have Caldera 2006 and I wanted to upgrade my wheels. Mayby Single Track rims? They look much stronger then DS2-XC.

Have a look on the Sun SOS rim. That's the back country enduro rim from them. It's larger and stronger compare to the DS2.
The Singletrack is more a freeride rim.

Sun pegs a Blackeye at 525 grams.

What are you looking for in a rim? Lighter XC race, heavier back country? Give us a bit more to go on.

Something between. tongue.gif
Rim that is strong (back country) and not bad for racing (not too heavy). I would like to have only one set of wheels.

If you're sticking with Sun then DS-XC1 for light or Singletrack for heavy. There is no real freeride / XC-race rim so you'll have to pick one that suits most of your riding.

blink.gif dont use a 2005 cinder cone with black eye rims for downhilling because bad things become of it.
