Can anyone tell me the weight of a 2010 explosif in a 16"? Ive tried searching but can't find the answer. Thanks |

I don't have one here to put on the scale but based on past experience I'd peg it at a bit under five pounds.

hi, Thanks for that,
Looking to buy a used one to build a singlespeed. Where do I find the info for bottom bracket size etc? Also I read in a thread that you recommend an 80mm shock, I thought the frame was specified for a 100mm..??.. |

BB shell is 68mm and fork is 80mm, the classic Geometry.
The UK had some 100mm Explosifs a few years before 2010 but no where else. They evolved into the Blink and the Buffer with even longer forks. -------------------- |

Hi Again,
I now have the frame and built it up as a single speed. One of the reasons I went for this frame was to have the option of having it geared if and when I want to. I now can't find anyone selling the correct hanger! will this one do? Kona rear hanger It does not have the bit with the chain tensioner adjuster screw on it, but I guess I would run the hanger/wheel fully forward in the horizontal drop outs.... |
