I recently purchased a 2008 Kula. I was wondering if you could tell me the length and degree of rise of the stem. The stem is a WTB CXC.

Thank you,

Ray

Post up what size of frame you've got there and I'll dig up the numbers. We tweak stem size by frame size to fine tune the cockpit.

The stock stem on a 18" Kula from 09 was a 90mm x 6 degree. Of course if you're buiding it from scratch you should take the time to see what stem fits your body. I like to run short ones myself but they can make it tougher to climb.

Sit on the bike, eitther supported by another person or leaning against a wall. Close your eyes and reach for where you "want" the bars to be. That'll give you and idea if the stock stem will suit.
