I am wanting to buy a set of wheels to use through the summer and keep the original wheel/tyre set for winter use. Will any 700c wheels with 126mm width hubs and Shimano 10spd compatible fit my 2013 JTS?
I would just like to be sure before I go ahead and order some.
Many thanks
Dave

For a 2013 Jake the Snake you want a set of 700c rims made for rim brakes, hubs 100mm front/130mm rear OLD dimension and 10 speed freehub body.

Thanks. Just as well I checked. Is there any way to get 126mm to fit by using spacers and having the wheel re-dished, or is it just best to go 130mm from the off?
Thanks again

What kind of hub is it? I've never heard of 126mm OLD.

Hear of 120,130,135,150,165 but not any in-between ones.

Yet another senior moment sad.gif
I really must apologise. I don't know what I was thinking about. I have an old Reynolds 753 racing bike that I have recently been restoring and I have been making enquiries elsewhere as to whether modern wheels would go between the dropouts which are 100 front and 126 rear. When I asked about wheels for my JTS I meant to ask whether road wheels with 130mm OLD would fit the bill and mistakenly used the dimensions from the 753. Anyway, thanks for confirming the size.
