Hi,
Could you please provide me with the specs for the headset and for the bottom bracket which I should buy for my 2012 Sutra frameset. The http://2k12.konaworld.com website has very little information about that. There is ‘TH 848’ headset, and I suppose that means FSA TH-848, but they don’t produce it anymore and I cannot find any information about it on FSA website. E.g. if Cane Creek 40.EC34 (http://www.canecreek.com/products/headsets/forty) will do? And I also have the same problem with the bottom bracket. I would like to install some nice old-fashioned square type BB, but again I’m not sure which size exactly I need. E.g. the Shimano BB-UN55 has three types of width (68mm, 73mm and 70mm) and 7 types of length (107mm, 110mm, 113mm, 115mm, 118mm, 122,5mm, 127,5mm). Which one should I buy? Thanks a lot! |

Hi, the head tube uses a 1 1/8" external cup headset. Huge choice in that size.
BB shell is 68mm with an English thread. Lots of choice in old school square taper there. -------------------- |

One more question.
What is the chainline of the frame? Thanks! |

The frame has a 68mm BB shell, the chainline will hinge on the type of BB and crankset.
The parts will come with instructions to setup ideal chainline around that shell size. -------------------- |
