Question about putting 170mm SC fork, SC forks

Hello everyone, I have a question about putting new fork into my Stab 2005(this blue-white one). I want to put Marzocchi 66rcx2 2006, because I want to pull more bmx'style tricks like x'up's and tailwhips. Also my bike is used for northshore riding, hucking and dirt jumping. My question is, if I put 170mm travel single crown fork would the Stabs headtube bent? I really want to ride on it as long as I can- I have no sponsors, but I'm worried because two of my friends broke headtubes of their bikes by putting too long singlecrown forks(1.1/8 headtube) into their full suspension bikes. Thanks smile.gif

I don't see a problem with at least the fork and the frame (the rider of course is a big part of the package).

In 2005 the Clump team riders like John Cowan, and Robbie Bourdon were riding frames identical to your Stab with 66 forks.
