Hi could you please tell me the following dimensions for a 2005 Kona Deluxe road frame (the Dedacciai EOM tubed one)
1. Seatpost diameter 2. Seat post clamp diameter 3. Fork steerer diameter (1 1/8" ?) 4. BB thread and shell width (I presume Britich thread and 68mm?) also would you recommend a spray with JP Weigle's frame saver or something similar in the tubes before building it up? many thanks, pat |

I have one of these bikes, they're great I have to say.
seat collar pending, and 30.0mm seatpost. 1 1/8" head tube, the original fork is threadless. BB shell is a 68mm English thread. Go ahead on the frame saver. I've heard of other folks using Boeshield also or even fogging oil in a pinch. -------------------- |

I was going to ask the size, but I'm pretty sure it looks bigger than 27.2. |

Well I pulled mine out of the Shrine at this question because that did make me think, is the big post an illusion or did the #'s change?
It is a 30.0mm post on this guy, I'll have to over-write our spec sheets. The collar is going to take a bit more head scratching as it's not stamped. I'll have to gauge that later on. -------------------- |

Yeah, I wanted the exact post diameter without taking mine out of the bike (because my collar might be stripping), which is why I came here. 30.0 sounds right (my cheap calipers measured it right around 30.0). When you have the proper collar spec, I'd like that too. |

Hi, could you please show me a size chart for a 2005 Kona Deluxe road frame (the Dedacciai EOM tubed one). I'm going to buy one, and there's no information about sizes (seat tube, effective top tube, head tube sizes). I'm 185cm (6'1") tall and not sure if the 60cm size fit me.

I would look for a lighter more responsive fork. The Paddy Wagon fork is thicker and made for banging around. That Deda frame has a really nice ride, you want a fork with some give to work with the frame.
