You need a rear shock with a 6.5" eye to eye and a 1.5" stroke.

are the numbers same for 18" frame?

manual refers to "Suspension Set-up Chart" for the numbers, where do I find the chart?

Shock stroke and length stays the same on all frame sizes for each model. Bikes with air shocks stay 100% the same and bikes with coil shocks have the same damper but the spring will get stiffer on the larger sizes.

The chart is usually right by that description in the manual. For a Four you'd want 25mm of sag front and rear.

I have a size 20" Kona Four and it also has a 6.5 x 1.5, the Kona is a mid -tune also. Mine came with the Bar 2.1 and I purchased the Monarch RT3. I have to buyanother mounting kit, one per eye. The bushings from the Bar 2.1 will not swap, different size.
